Coffee Drinks
How we make coffee drinks on our fully automatic coffee machine. There is no grinding into a portafilter, tamping or manual steam wand: the machine grinds, brews and froths the milk for every coffee drink.
Blue Mountain Coffee is not an espresso drink
Blue Mountain Coffee (and Mocha Milk Tea) are milk teas: powder over brewed Earl Grey black tea at the tea station, like the other milk teas. No espresso. See Milk Teas & Fruit Teas.
Rules for every coffee drink

| Cups | Black cup for hot drinks. White cup for cold drinks. |
| Syrup | Every serving is 2 pumps. Torani syrups are at the front: vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, coconut. |
| Sugar and syrup go in first | Add the sugar and syrup to the cup before brewing. |
| Cold coffee | Put half a scoop of ice in the customer cup before brewing. |
| Switching milk | Clean the cup every time you switch between oat milk and whole milk. |
| "Descale" prompt | If the machine asks to descale during service, press Cancel. Descaling is a manager task. |
Americano ($2)
1 shot of espresso + hot or cold water.
The customer can add sugar, but an Americano gets no milk. If they want milk, that's a latte.

The binder covers the coffee rules above but not the button sequence on the machine for each drink. Ask a manager to show you, and add the steps (with a photo of the machine's screen) to this page.
Cleaning
- Wipe drips and spills from the machine as you go.
- Clean the milk cup whenever you switch milks.
- Leave descaling to a manager (press Cancel on the prompt).
