This is a quick reference for basic operations. For complete instructions, troubleshooting, and advanced features, see the full POS System Guide.
Taking a Basic Order
1. Start New Sale
- Tap "New Sale" (big green button)
2. Add Items
- Search for drink name, or
- Browse categories → Tap item
3. Customize
- Set sweetness level (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
- Set ice level (no ice, light, regular, extra)
- Choose milk type (whole, oat +$0.50, almond +$0.50)
- Add toppings (boba free, jelly +$0.50, etc.)
4. Add to Cart
- Tap "Add to Cart"
- Item appears on left side
5. Take Payment
- Card: Customer taps/inserts card
- Cash: Tap "Cash" → Enter amount given → Give change
- Mobile Pay: Customer holds phone near reader
6. Complete
- Receipt prints automatically
- Tell customer their order number
Common Tasks
Apply Discount:
- After adding items, tap "Discount"
- Enter percentage or dollar amount
- (Discounts over 20% need manager approval)
Void Item Before Payment:
- Tap item in cart → Tap "Remove"
Refund (After Payment):
- Always get manager approval first!
- Menu → Transactions → Find order → Refund
Split Payment:
- Tap "Split" or "Partial Payment"
- Enter amount for first card
- Process second card for remainder
Important Reminders
- Repeat order back to customer
- Show total before payment
- Tell customer order number after payment
- Card declined? Stay professional, offer alternative payment
- Never process refund without manager approval
